Stage and screen star Steven Pasquale, most recently seen Off-Broadway in the final Stephen Sondheim musical Here We Are, releases his sophomore solo album January 25.

Entitled Steven Pasquale: Some Other Time, the new recording from Center Stage Records is available digitally on all platforms. A vinyl edition is expected later this year.

The new recording also showcases jazz guitar player John Pizzarelli, who joins Pasquale to bring 10 songs from the American Songbook to life.

The album was recorded in two days and produced by Pizzarelli and Jessica Molaskey.

Pasquale will next  be seen in Pulitzer Prize-winning composer Michael R. Jackson’s Teeth, a new musical at Playwrights Horizons about evangelical Christian teenager Dawn O'Keefe, whose body bites back when men try to violate her.

The actor made his Broadway debut in Reasons to Be Pretty and starred opposite Kerry Washington in American Son, a role he reprised for the Netflix film adaptation. He also starred in Lincoln Center Theater’s Junk and received Drama Desk and Drama League nominations for his work in The Bridges of Madison County opposite Kelli O’Hara. Off-Broadway, the actor won the Lucille Lortel Award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Musical for The Robber Bridegroom at Roundabout Theatre Company. He also received Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle nominations for the Ahrens/Flaherty/McNally musical A Man of No Importance at Lincoln Center Theater. He starred in Classic Stage Company’s production of Assassins.
