The cast of the Broadway production of Anthony McCarten's The Collaboration, which transfers from London's Young Vic, where it made its world premiere earlier this year, met the press November 10. Previews will begin November 29 at the Samuel J. Friedman Theatre ahead of a December 20 opening night.

The company includes Jeremy Pope (Choir Boy, Ain't Too Proud) and Paul Bettany (WandaVision, A Very British Scandal), who starred in the London production, joined by Krysta Rodriguez (Into the Woods, Spring Awakening) and Erik Jensen (The Exonerated, Coal Country).

Written by four-time Oscar nominee McCarten (The Two Popes, Bohemian Rhapsody), The Collaboration will be directed by Kwame Kwei-Armah (The Visitor, Tree), who also directed the London premiere. Also re-creating their work from London are scenic and costume designer Anna Fleischle, sound designer Emma Laxton, and projection designer Duncan McLean. Joining the team for the Broadway run are lighting designer Ben Stanton and Ayanna Witter-Johnson, who will provide original music.

Set in 1984, the Bohemian Rhapsody and The Two Popes writer's work centers on superstar artist Andy Warhol (Bettany) and then-newcomer Jean-Michel Basquiat (Pope) as they begin an unlikely collaboration on a modern art exhibition in New York.
