The Broadway Dreams Foundation celebrated producer Robert Greenblatt at the organization's annual gala December 9. The prolific entertainment producer has signed on to several of Broadway's most notable modern musicals, including A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder, Something Rotten!, Dear Evan Hansen, and Mean Girls. Greenblatt is also producing the Broadway-bound Smash stage adaptation.
Held at New York City's Plaza Hotel, the event featured performances by Broadway Dreams students, Tony Award nominees Robyn Hurder (set to star in the upcoming Smash), Elizabeth Stanley, Sidney Dupont, Bryonha Marie Parham, and Quentin Earl Darrington. Dolly Parton, Sean Hayes, Allison Janney, Stephanie J. Block, Megan Hilty, and Kristin Chenoweth also appeared virtually. Christopher J. Hanke hosted the evening.
The annual gala aims to raise critical funds for the leading arts education not-for-profit, which is dedicated to creating a bridge between the professional Broadway community and next generation of theater artists through a uniquely immersive, mentorship-driven training model.
