Markus Potter directs the performance with musical direction by Eugene Gwozdz. The cast is headed by Robert Cuccioli, Melissa O'Neil and Jesse Manocherian.

Created by Andrew Beall and Neil Van Leeuwen, Song of Solomon is described as "a touching, epic romance based on the biblical tale of the same name set in ancient Israel."

“A musical this steeped in history and beauty is a perfect fit for a Temple as equally beautiful and historic. Years ago I was looking for a Temple to say prayers in memory of my late husband and parents. A friend invited me to The Actors’ Temple and she said, 'All are welcome,'" producer Carol Ostrow said in an earlier statement. “I walked in, saw the photos of all the old-time famous actors, and I felt at home. I wanted to be under the same roof with Sophie Tucker, Shelly Winters, Edward G. Robinson, The Marx Brothers, The Ritz Brothers and many more, who prayed and performed there."

The evening also honors Edmund Gaynes, producer and general manager; Kurt Peterson, producer and teacher; Eva Price, Broadway producer and general manager; and Mike Libien, Board of Directors member of The Actors’ Temple, representing the Libien Family.

The event begins with dinner at 6 PM, followed by the 7:30 PM performance with dessert and coffee afterwards.
