The critics have spoken. Reviews are in for the world-premiere of the new musical The Griswolds' Broadway Vacation. Based on the film franchise and featuring a book, music, and lyrics by The Other Josh Cohen writing team of David Rossmer and Steve Rosen, the production opened September September 22 at Seattle's 5th Avenue Theatre. It began previews September 13 and will continue through October 1.
Starring in the cast are Hunter Foster (The Bridges of Madison County, Little Shop of Horrors) as Clark Griswold; Megan Reinking, who recently stepped in for Kate Rockwell, as Ellen Griswold; Livvy Marcus as Audrey Griswold; and Nathan Levy as Rusty Griswold with Jay Klaitz as Cousin Eddie and Alan H. Green as Naked Commando.
