Regional News RENT, Beautiful, Doubt Join Theatre Aspen's 40th Season

This summer will mark the 40th year for the respected Colorado company.

Colorado's Theatre Aspen has announced the lineup for the 40th anniversary summer season.

The regional company will present Beautiful – The Carole King Musical, Doubt, and Rent on their mainstage, in addition to their Solo Flights one-person show festival, and their Summer Cabaret Series. Production dates and casting information will be announced at a later date

Theatre Aspen in a Colorado stalwart, combining top theatrical talent with an assortment of community events, including late-night cabarets, educational programs, and collaborations with other Aspen arts organizations. Previous productions include Jersey Boys as directed by Hunter Foster, Gypsy starring Cassondra James, and Julie Kavanaugh in Little Shop of Horrors. Theatre Aspen also contains one of the largest apprentice programs in the country, through which many early career theatre makers train.
