Private Jones, written and directed by Marshall Pailet (Who’s Your Baghdaddy?), officially opens at Connecticut's Goodspeed Musicals November 1 after beginning previews October 13. Performances will continue through November 5.

Based on a true story, the musical centers on a Deaf soldier in World War I with a particular skill for sniping. The production features a cast of hearing, Deaf, and hard-of-hearing actors, with Alexandria Wailes serving as director of Artistic Sign Language.

The cast includes Leanne Antonio as Gwenolyn/Evans, Vincent Kempski as Edmund, Johnny Link as Private Gomer Jones, and Claire Neumann as Jack King. The ensemble comprises David Aron Damane, Alex De Bard, Brandon Espinoza, Dickie Hearts, Amelia Hensley, George Psomas, Jon-Michael Reese, and Emily Steinhardt. Casting is by Geoff Josselson and Katha Zarolinski of JZ Casting.

Along with Pailet and Wailes, the creative team includes choreographer Misha Shields, music director Myrna Conn, scenic designers Christopher and Justin Swader, costume designer Phuong Nguyen, lighting designer Jen Schriever, sound designer Jay Hilton, and orchestrator Ryan O'Connell. Mysti Stay is stage manager, and Amanda Star Holtzman is assistant stage manager.
