Dylan Mulvaney is in rehearsal for her upcoming Edinburgh Festival Fringe debut. Her solo musical FAGHAG will play Assembly George Square Studios July 31–August 25. See photos from the rehearsal studio below.

The show will peel back the curtain on Mulvaney's life behind the scenes of her joyous TikTok series, Days of Girlhood, which documented her gender transition. The series, a viral sensation, has made Mulvaney one of the most famous trans women in the United States.

In the solo musical, Mulvaney will dive deep into the labels that have been thrust upon her throughout her highly publicized transition, how she has navigated dating since her transition, and her relationship with God. Mulvaney's childhood growing up queer in the Catholic church will be heavily explored, as well as the ways in which fame has upended her sense of self.

Said Mulvaney in an earlier statement, "I am over the moon excited to return back to my theatre roots! FAGHAG is a campy, queer love letter to my younger self, and my way of taking my story off of social media and onto the stage. I have a deep respect for the solo performance art form, and I can't think of a more iconic place to premiere it than Edinburgh Fringe."

Featuring an hour of original musical numbers, FAGHAG includes songs by Tim Robinson (Two Strangers, Merrily We Roll Along) and direction by Tim Jackson. The show is produced and supported by Seaview, Wessex Grove, and AEG Presents.
