Justin Bartha and Elizabeth Reaser Explore Discipline and Power in Robert Askins' Permission
In Permission, Bartha and Reaser will play Eric and Cyndy, respectively, a couple who have decided to follow the example of their friends and make the real-life practice of Christian Domestic Discipline the foundation of their marriage. "But restructuring their lives and their union according to role play and a new moral code upends everything they knew--and took for granted--about one another, their friends, and more importantly, who really holds the power," state press notes.
Created and performed by Sydney-based comedian and visual artist Sam Kissajukian, the show comes to New York directly from a sold-out engagement at Edinburgh Fringe Festival
From classics like Les Misérables to current shows like The Outsiders, now you can place your favorite Playbill covers wherever your theatre kid heart desires.
