A planned Off-Broadway bow for Martin M. Zuckerman's A Perfect Peace has been indefinitely postponed due to "insurmountable production obstacles," production representatives confirmed February 21. Performances were to have begun February 28 at Theatre at St. Clements for a 12-week limited engagement.
Ticket holders should consult their point of purchase for refunds.
The cast was to have included Ephie Aardema (Funny Girl), Iris Bahr (Dai), Yair Ben-Dor (Prayer for the French Republic), Donald Corren (Torch Song Trilogy), Talia Sulla (Prayer for the French Republic, Huntington Theatre), Max Wolkowitz (Indecent), Max Katz (The Thursday Night Club), and Rebecca Salzhauer (Titus Andronicus).
Set in the 1960s, the play follows Yoni, an Israeli war hero who's struggling to adapt to life away from the battlefield.
The production was to have featured scenic design by Zoë Hurwitz, costume design by Amy Sutton, lighting design by Nic Vincent, sound design by Frederick Kennedy, and projection design by Yana Biryükova.
