Tony nominee Robert Cuccioli (Jekyll & Hyde) stars as Bruce Bechdel in White Plains Performing Arts Center's New York regional premiere of Jeanine Tesori and Lisa Kron's Fun Home, leading a cast that also includes Rita Harvey (Fiddler on the Roof) and Lauren Cohn (Mamma Mia!) as Helen and Alison, respectively.

The production continues at WPPAC through October 28.

Rounding out the company are Catherine Ashmore Bradley (A Christmas Story) and Serena Parrish sharing the role of Small Alison, Wyatt Cirbus (Finding Neverland) as Christian, Elliot Fishman (Kinky Boots) as John, Jessica Mosher as Joan, Megan O’Callaghan as Medium Alison, and Ian Smith as Roy, Mark, Pete, and Bobby.

Winner of five Tony Awards including Best Musical, Fun Home centers on graphic novelist Alison as she attempts to piece together the story of her own coming out and her complicated relationship with her father. The musical features a Tony-winning score and book, written by composer Jeanine Tesori and book writer and lyricist Lisa Kron, adapted from the graphic memoir by Alison Bechdel.

“Robert [Cuccioli] was a perfect fit for the role of Bruce [Alison’s father]. His breadth of experience with complex characters will allow him to truly embody the role. Add to the cast two other seasoned Broadway actors, Lauren Cohn as Alison and Rita Harvey as Helen [Alison’s mother], along with the rest of this phenomenal company of professionals, and this is sure to be an exciting production,” says Stephen Ferri, executive producer of WPPAC.

WPPAC's Fun Home is helmed by Amy Griffin, with choreography by Lexie Fennell Frare and musical direction by Stephen Ferri. Griffin leads a creative team that includes scenic designers Christopher and Justin Swader, lighting designer Jamie Roderick, costume designer Molly Seidel, sound designer Emma Wilk, and stage manager Kellie McMenemon.
