News New York City Pride March, With Derek Jacobi, Ian McKellen, Darren Criss and More, Spreads Love Through Streets of NYC Stage and screen actors Derek Jacobi and Ian McKellen, who play a dueling gay couple in the BBC comedy "Vicious," are the grand marshals of the 2015 New York City Pride March, which kicks off June 28 at noon.

The two-mile march route begins in the caverns of Midtown Manhattan at 36th Street and Fifth Avenue. The march proceeds downtown via Fifth Avenue, turning west along 8th Street into the West Village until a sharp turn onto Christopher Street at Sixth Avenue. Marchers continue down Christopher Street, past The Stonewall Inn, until the route disperses at Greenwich Street.

In addition to Jacobi and McKellen, Hedwig stars Darren Criss and Rebecca Naomi Jones will be featured on the Hetrick Martin Institute parade float alongside HMI youth members who will walk during the parade. Ariana Grande is this year's headliner at the Dance on the Pier.

New York City's Pride festivities take place just as the Supreme Court of the United States ruled that Marriage Equality was legal in all 50 states. Playbill.com reached out to numerous members of the Broadway community, who shared personal stories, videos and photos.
