Signature Theatre's world-premiere production of the new musical Three Houses, penned by Signature Premiere Resident Dave Malloy (Natasha, Pierre, & The Great Comet of 1812), has extended its Off-Broadway run by a week. Previously slated to close June 9, the run will now continue through June 16.
Performances began April 30, with an official opening May 20. Annie Tippe, who also helmed Signature’s 2019 world premiere of Malloy’s Octet, is directing and choreographing. Read the reviews here.
The new musical takes place during the COVID-19 pandemic, as three different people isolate in three different locations. Sequestered away from the world, they are forced to face personal demons (and some very inventive puppets).
