Off-Broadway News Neuro-Inclusive Little Shop of Horrors to Play Off Off-Broadway The EPIC Players production, featuring artists with Autism Spectrum Disorder, begins performances at the Sheen Center June 5.

EPIC Players—a company of artists who are neurotypical (not on the autism spectrum) and alter-abled (those on the autism spectrum) actors, directors, designers, educators and technicians alike—will bring Little Shop of Horrors Off Off-Broadway this June.

The Howard Ashman and Alan Menken musical, about a blood-thirsty plant and the shy botanist who finds it, will play June 5–16 at The Sheen Center for Thought and Culture.

Aubrie Therrien, executive artistic director, EPIC Players, directs a cast made up of Ben Rosloff as Seymour and Nicole D'Angelo as Audrey, along with Michael Buckhout as Mushnik, Dante Jayce as Dentist, Nick Moscato as Audrey II, Imani Youngblood as Chiffon, Justin Phillips as Ronnette, Aria Curameng as Crystal, Melissa Jennifer Gonzalez as Liberty, Kathryn Cristofano as Diamond, Whitney Blythe as Customer, Gianluca Cirafici as Skip Slip, Brianna Freeman as Wino, Jessy Leppert as Bernstien, Samantha Elisofon as Mrs. Luce, Nick Amodio as Martin, Gideon Pianko as Interviewer, and Eric Zimmer as Voice. Andrew Kader, Kim Carter, Meggan Dodd, and Amaker Smith make up the ensemble.

The creative team is made up of Max Baudisch (assistant director); Jonathan Ivie (music director); Josh Coyne (assistant music director); Travis Burbee (choreographer); Kylie Hogrefe (stage manager); Carol Hoverman (assistant stage manager); Ari Sloan (assistant stage manager); Amaker Smith (acting coach); Tim Catlett (set designer); Cat Fisher (costume designer); Zach Weeks (lighting designer); Isabella Scappaticci (sound designer); Wells Thorne (properties designer); Nathan Gregory (projection designer); and Sara Vandenheuvel (wardrobe assistant).
