Winners will be named at the June 20 ceremony at the NYU Skirball Center for the Performing Arts.

Broadway legend and three-time Tony honoree Chita Rivera announced nominations for the 2022 Chita Rivera Awards, which aims to celebrate dance and choreographic excellence on stage and screen, May 17. See the full list of nominees below.

In this year's Off-Broadway categories, the Awards dispensed with nominations and announced two special awards. Josh Prince, choreographer of Off-Broadway's Trevor: The Musical, has been named the recipient for Outstanding Choreography in an Off-Broadway Show. The company of MCC Theater's The Wrong Man has been named Outstanding Ensemble in an Off-Broadway Show. As previously announced, Tony, Academy, and Golden Globe winner Joel Grey will receive the Lifetime Achievement Award at this year's ceremony.
