News Megan Mullally Will Watch the World Come to an End in Upcoming Ten-Part NBC Drama Series Sky's upcoming drama "Apocalypse Slough," a ten-part series that NBC will air in the U.S., will star Rob Lowe, Megan Mullally and more, according to Deadline.com.

Directed by Emmy nominee Michael Engler, and created and written by Iain Hollands, the cast also includes Jenna Fischer, Mathew Baynton, Pauline Quirke, Patterson Joseph and Joel Fry.

According to Deadline, the series will follow an eclectic group of ordinary people. An eight-mile wide comet is destined to wipe out all life on Earth, and the group must hunker beneath the town of Slough, about 20 miles west of London, to watch the end of the world on TV.

"Apocalypse Slough" is slated to premiere later this year.

The executive producers for the series are Juliette Howell, Tim Bevan, Eric Fellner and Lynn Horsford for Working Title TV, Andrew Conrad for Bigballs Films and Cameron Roach and Lizzie Gray for Sky. The series will be produced by Polly Buckle, Nick Pitt and Susie Liggat.
