News Matthew Scott Joins Broadway’s An American in Paris Cast Tonight He replaces Tony nominee Brandon Uranowitz in the long-running musical.

Matthew Scott, who appeared on Broadway in Sondheim on Sondheim and Jersey Boys, replaces Tony Award nominee Brandon Uranowitz, the love-smitten pianist in the Broadway musical An American in Paris, beginning August 9.

Uranowitz played his last performance August 7.

The cast currently includes Dimitri Kleioris as Jerry Mulligan, Leanne Cope as Lise Dassin, Veanne Cox as Madame Baurel, Jill Paice as Milo Davenport and Max von Essen as Henri Baurel.

The cast also includes Caitlin Abraham, Kyle Brown, Attila Joey Csiki, Megan Dickinson, Ashlee Dupré, Laura Feig, Kurt Froman, Stephen Hanna, Derek Hanson, Dustin Layton, Marina Lazzaretto, Cory Lingner, Nathen Madden, Gia Mongell, Christy Morton, Charlotte O’Dowd, Candy Olsen, Kristin Piro, Rebecca Riker, Sam Rogers, Shannon Rugani, Bradley Schlagheck, Jeffrey C. Sousa, Sam Strasfeld, Charlie Sutton, Tory Trowbridge, Mindy Wallace, Allison Walsh and Scott Willis.

An American in Paris continues its run at the Palace Theatre on Broadway. Tickets are available through Ticketmaster.com.
