News Mary-Louise Parker Returns to New York Stage in Simon Stephens Premiere Tonight Manhattan Theatre Club stages the world premiere of Heisenberg, a new play by Olivier Award winner Simon Stephens of The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time fame, which begins previews May 19 starring Tony and Emmy Award winner Mary-Louise Parker (Proof, "Weeds") and Denis Arndt.

Directed by Mark Brokaw, Heisenberg sees Parker playing Georgie, a woman who unexpectedly kisses a much older man (Welsh) amidst the bustle of a crowded London train station. According to MTC, "This electric encounter thrusts these two strangers into a fascinating and life-changing game...Is this the strangest thing that two people have ever done in the history of the world?"

Performances are at the Studio at Stage II, and an official opening night is slated for June 3.

Stephens' play The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time has received international acclaim and is currently playing the Ethel Barrymore Theatre on Broadway. Heisenberg, was commissioned by MTC.
