Tony winner Laura Benanti has teamed up with women from Broadway and Silicon Valley to bring New York City two concert fundraisers in support of Vice President Kamala Harris’ presidential campaign.

Both performances, which will celebrate women’s unique ability to inspire, create, and transform, will spotlight female collaborators and the music of composer Miranda Ferriss Jones. Held on September 25 at City Winery NYC and September 30 at Racket NYC, each concert will have its own unique lineup.

The City Winery NYC concert, Voices for Victory, will be hosted by Benanti and showcase the inspiring music of Jones, a prolific musical theatre composer whose work celebrates her mixed-race heritage and the female experience. The evening will feature performances from Nasia Thomas (SIX, The Last Five Years), Morgan Dudley (Jagged Little Pill), Miki Abraham (Shucked), and Khaila Wilcoxon (SIX).

The Racket NYC concert will present Jones' show Spiral Bound, based on the poems of Richard Edelman. Spiral Bound, which debuted at Joe’s Pub in a sold-out show, returns with a performance directed by Ellenore Scott and a cast including Benanti, Lorna Courtney (& Juliet), Eleri Ward (Florence Welch’s Gatsby), Khaila Wilcoxon (SIX), and Sandra Okuboyejo (Hamilton). The show will be followed by a dance party.

The shows are co-creative produced by Jones and Benanti, featuring their diverse female collective of Broadway performers, musicians, and activists.

These concerts are made possible by the collaborative efforts of Jones, Benanti, Justine Lelchuk, Women Execs for Kamala, Black Women’s Blueprint, and Edelman Creative.
