Broadway News Kelly Denice Taylor Makes Broadway Debut in SIX July 19

Taylor is an alternate in the Aragon company, one of the musical's two national tours.

Kelly Denice Taylor makes her Broadway debut July 19 as Jane Seymour in SIX The Musical at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre. Taylor is currently an alternate in the Aragon tour, one of the musical's two touring companies.

Taylor steps into the role for Abby Mueller for the evening performance on Broadway and will serve as an offstage alternate for the remainder of the week.

Taylor joins Adrianna Hicks as Catherine of Aragon, Andrea Macasaet as Anne Boleyn, Brittney Mack as Anna of Cleves, and Samantha Pauly as Katherine Howard. The cast also includes Keirsten Nicole Hodgens, Nicole Kyoung-Mi Lambert, Courtney Mack, and Mallory Maedke.

Co-written by Lucy Moss and Toby Marlow, SIX is presented as a one-act pop concert and tells the story of the six wives of Henry VIII. It took home 2022 Tony Awards for Best Score and Best Costume Design for a Musical for Gabriella Slade's work on outfitting the queens and their Ladies-in-Waiting band.

SIX's Aragon national tour is currently playing in Washington, D.C., through September 4, 2022.
