Performers and presenters have been announced for the 2022 Olivier Awards, set for April 10 at London's Royal Albert Hall. This year's awards will be the first in-person ceremony for West End theatre's highest honor since the shutdown. The event will stream live on YouTube and broadcast live on Magic Radio, with highlights shown on U.K. TV channel ITV following the event.
Hosted by Jason Manford, the evening will feature presenters and performers Noma Dumezweni (Harry Potter and the Cursed Child), Tom Felton (Harry Potter on screen), Beverley Knight (The Drifters Girl, Bodyguard), Tony winner Jonathan Pryce, Keala Settle (& Juliet), Layton Williams (Everybody's Talking About Jamie), Anne-Marie Duff, Kit Harington, Oti Mabuse, Arlene Phillips, and Sam Tutty.
The evening will also feature performances from all Best New Musical and Best Musical Revival nominees, meaning viewers can look forward to numbers from Back to the Future The Musical; Cabaret; Spring Awakening; Anything Goes; The Drifters Girl; Frozen; Get Up, Stand Up! The Bob Marley Musical; and Moulin Rouge! The Musical.
Best New Play nominee Life of Pi will also perform during the ceremony.
Among this year's nominees are Eddie Redmayne, Jessie Buckley, Liza Sadovy, and Elliot Levey for their performances in Cabaret, and Sutton Foster for the reprisal of her Tony-winning performance in the Kathleen Marshall-directed and choreographed Anything Goes. Read the full list of nominees here.
