Kaytlin Bailey's solo show Wh*ore’s Eye View, which was a hit at 2024 Edinburgh Fringe, will return to the states for an Off-Broadway run. Presented at HERE Arts Center, the play will begin previews October 10, open October 18th, and run through October 27. 

A mad dash through 10,000 years of history from a sex worker’s perspective, the solo show provides audiences with a handy grasp on the top layers of sex worker advocacy and identity, while underlining the gendered connections between sex work and military service. From Ishtar and Lilith to Victoria C. Woodhull and Dora Noyce, feminine power is on full display, as are the efforts that have been taken to snuff it out.

Based in New York City, Bailey is a sex worker rights advocate, comedian, and writer, as well as the founder and executive director of Old Pros, a non-profit media organization educating the public on the importance of decriminalizing sex work. She also hosts The Oldest Profession Podcast, a popular show where every episode is a deep dive into a different sex worker from history.

Bailey is a globally recognized leader in the sex worker rights movement. She has been quoted in The New York Times, Rolling Stone, The Washington Post, The Boston Globe, New York Post, The Village Voice, and The Nation. She has published op-eds for Huffington Post, Reason, The Daily Beast, and Vice, and has been invited to speak at Yale Law School, Penn University, Berkeley and UCLA. Bailey has been featured on Lifetime, ABC, and Reason, and appeared on countless podcasts as a comic, advocate, and expert on the history of sex work.
