Film & TV News Josh Groban's Radio City Music Hall Concert Will Air on PBS in November

The upcoming Sweeney Todd star will be joined by Cyndi Lauper, Denée Benton, and Tiler Peck.

Josh Groban’s Great Big Radio City Show, featuring the star of the forthcoming Broadway revival of Stephen Sondheim's Sweeney Todd, will make its PBS premiere November 25 at 9 PM ET as part of Great Performances' 50th anniversary season; check local listings. The concert will also stream via PBS Passport.

Groban, who was Tony-nominated for his Broadway debut in Natasha, Pierre & The Great Comet of 1812, is joined by Grammy, Emmy, and Tony winner Cyndi Lauper; Tony nominee Denée Benton; Country Music Television Award nominee Breland; and New York City principal ballet dancer Tiler Peck. The special also features a live painting created to music by artist David Garibaldi.

The filmed concert is a celebration of the arts and served as Groban’s love letter to New York City. The vocalist, who is backed by a full orchestra, shares personal anecdotes as well as such tunes as “You Raise Me Up,” “The Impossible Dream,” and “Bring Him Home.”
