An industry presentation of David Jonathan Glass’ new play Love and Science in the Time of HIV will be held March 3 at 2 PM in Manhattan.

Directed by Allen MacLeod, the cast will feature Matt Walker (The Play That Goes Wrong), Jason Gotay (Gossip Girl, Evita), Sharon Catherine Brown (Caroline, or Change), Jonathan Burke (The Inheritance), Ryan Knowles (The Lightning Thief), Malika Samuel (Harry Potter and the Cursed Child), and Jonathan Spivey (The Front Page).

The play is set in early 1980s New York City as gay medical students Matt and Jeff connect while working in a retro-virology lab. When HIV erupts, the fallout upends their relationship as their response to the rising epidemic pushes them along different paths, raising questions about their values as scientists and doctors and their responsibilities as gay men.

The set consultant is Kris Stone, and the stage manager is Merrick A.B. Williams, with casting by Daryl Eisenberg and Ally Beans and general management by Evan Bernardin Productions.

The upcoming presentation is produced by In Vivo Productions with executive producer Oliver Roth of O'Henry Productions. Email [email protected] for details.
