Janine DiVita (If/Then, The Mystery of Edwin Drood) and Patrick Oliver Jones (Evita, The First Wives Club) will co-star in Theatre Raleigh’s upcoming production of The Bridges of Madison County, which will run August 7–18 in North Carolina.
Featuring a Tony-winning score by Jason Robert Brown and a book by Pulitzer and Tony winner Marsha Norman, the musical is based on the best-selling Robert James Waller novel. Lauren Kennedy Brady will direct.
DiVita will play Francesca opposite Jones as National Geographic photographer Robert Kincaid. They will be joined by Scott Wakefield as Bud, Supriya Jaya as Marian/Chiara, Jack Richardson as Michael, Callie Colvard as Carolyn, Heather Setzler as Marge, and Jason Sharp as Charlie.
The Brides of Madison County creative team includes Rebecca Leigh Johnson (scenic design), Erich Keil (lighting design), Eric Alexander Collins (sound design), Dorothy Austin-Harrell (costume design), and Elizabeth Newton (property design). Allison Dellinger is production stage manager.
