The Human Rights Campaign (HRC) has announced it will honor Academy Award nominee and Broadway favorite Colman Domingo, Macy's, Inc. Chairman & CEO Jeff Gennette, and Trace Lysette at its 2024 Greater New York Dinner. The celebration will be held Feburary 3 at the New York Hilton Midtown.

Domingo will be honored with this year's HRC Equality Award, while Gennette and Lysette are the recipients of HRC's Corporate Visibility and Trailblazer Awards, respectively. Additional guests at the dinner will include Jesse James Keitel, Bruce Cohen, Peppermint, Marti Cummings, Aaron Goldenberg, Brita Filter, and more.

HRC's annual Greater New York Dinner honors individuals who have worked tirelessly for LGBTQIA+ equality. The Equality Award in particular recognizes an individual or organization that is dedicated to advancing LGBTQIA+ equality.

It was recently announced that Domingo will play Michael Jackson’s father in the upcoming biopic Michael. Domingo is also currently Oscar-nominated for his title role in the Netflix film Rustin, and appeared as Mister in the recent movie musical adaptation of The Color Purple. He received a Tony nomination for his performance in The Scottsboro Boys in 2010.
