Broadway's upcoming musical Kimberly Akimbo has revealed plans for a digital lottery and in-person rush tickets. With both options offering $40 tickets, the programs become the cheapest way to get a ticket to the new musical by David Lindsay-Abaire and Jeanine Tesori.

Entries for the digital lottery will be accepted at Rush.Telecharge.com beginning at midnight through 3 PM ET the day before a performance, with winners drawn at 9 AM ET for matinees and 3 PM ET for evening shows. Winners will be able to purchase up to two tickets for $40 each, plus a $5 service fee.

Rush tickets, also priced at $40, will be available when the box office opens the day of the performance at the Booth Theatre. The box office opens at 10 AM Tuesday-Saturday and Sunday at noon.

Kimberly Akimbo will play the Booth Theatre, with previews beginning October 12 and an opening night set for November 10. The Tesori-Lindsay-Abaire musical will transfer to the Main Stem with its cast intact from its 2021 world-premiere production at Off-Broadway's Atlantic Theatre Company, including Tony winner Victoria Clark in the title role.

Based on Lindsay-Abaire's play of the same name, the musical features music by Tesori and a book by Lindsay-Abaire.

Clark (The Light in the Piazza) stars as Kimberly, a bright New Jersey teenager with an aging disease that makes her look like a 72-year-old lady. She leads a cast that also includes Justin Cooley in his Broadway debut, Tony nominee Steven Boyer (Hand to God), Alli Mauzey (Cry Baby, Wicked), Bonnie Milligan (Head Over Heels), and Fernell Hogan (The Prom), plus Olivia Elease Hardy, Michael Iskander, and Nina White, all making their Broadway debuts.

The production is directed by Jessica Stone and choreographed by Danny Mefford, with the creative team including music director Chris Fenwick, orchestrator John Clancy (with additional orchestrations by Macy Schmidt), scenic designer David Zinn, costume designer Sarah Laux, lighting designer Jeanette Oi-Suk Yew, sound designer Kai Harada, projection designer Lucy MacKinnon, and wig, hair, and make-up designer J. Jared Janas. Arabella Powell is the production stage manager, and the production is cast by The Telsey Office's Craig Burns.

Producers for the Broadway production are David Stone, Atlantic Theater Company, James L. Nederlander, LaChanze, John Gore, Patrick Catullo, and Aaron Glick.
