How Great Thou Art: A Sacred Celebration, which features a 25-piece ensemble of The American Pops Orchestra, debuts on PBS stations across the country November 28 at 8 PM ET; check local listings.

With performances across classical, pop, Motown, and country genres, the lineup includes Tony winner Kristin Chenoweth (Wicked; You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown); Grammy winners Patti LaBelle, Sandi Patty, and Will Liverman; Tyler Hughes, Haselden Ciaccio, and Stephanie Duckworth; plus Luke Frazier, the founder and music director of The American Pops Orchestra.

The concert, filmed May 16 at the United Methodist Church in Washington, D.C., also features guest vocalists Sean Bell, Rachelle Fleming, Brittany Chanell Johnson, Hilary Morrow, Chris Richie, and Chris Urquiaga, plus singers from The Congressional Chorus, Howard University, George Mason University, The Reston Chorale, and St. Paul's United Methodist Church.

“Since a very early age, some of the music that has inspired me the most is from being raised in the church,” said LaBelle in an earlier statement. “That music created a foundation for my love of singing. And I have never lost that love and passion for this music. No matter your religion or beliefs, sacred music has the power to inspire, uplift, motivate, and comfort us.
