Anthony Boyle, who starred as Scorpius Malfoy in the Broadway premiere of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, Parts One and Two, has been cast in the HBO television of adaptation of Philip Roth's The Plot Against America, according to Deadline.

Published in 2004, Roth's novel imagines an alternative American history, told through a working-class, Jewish boy named Philip. When Charles Lindbergh defeats Franklin D. Roosevelt in the presidential election of 1940, antisemitism and fascism gain favor.

The six-part miniseries will also feature Stranger Things‘ Winona Ryder, Drama Desk nominee Zoe Kazan (A Behanding in Spokane), Homeland's Morgan Spector, Azhy Robertson (Juliet, Naked), Caleb Malis, and Golden Globe-nominated stage and screen alum John Turturro (The Night Of).

Robertson will play Philip.
