The new musical Beetlejuice marked its 100-performance milestone at the Winter Garden Theatre last week with its highest box office gross to date, surpassing the million dollar mark with a take of $1,036,333 for the week ending July 21.
The newly-arrived Moulin Rouge! also continued to climb at the box office, earning $1,724,492 for a seven-performance week at The Al Hirschfeld Theatre. Fans flocked to the Baz Lurhmann stage adaptation, which played to 105 percent capacity in its second week of performances.

Heidi Schreck’s Tony-nominated What the Constitution Means to Me also reported its best take in its eighth week on Broadway, with a gross of $537,001—playing to 99.83 percent capacity at the Hayes Theatre.
