Regional News Graham Phillips and Talia Suskauer Will Star in Sunday in the Park with George at Axelrod Performing Arts Center

The New Jersey venue will stage Sondheim's Pulitzer Prize-winning musical this spring.

Axelrod Performing Arts Center has revealed initial casting for their upcoming production of Sunday in the Park with GeorgeThe New Jersey venue will stage Stephen Sondheim's Pulitzer Prize-winning musical March 8–24, 2024.

Eamon Foley will direct and choreograph the production, with Graham Phillips (13) starring as Georges Seurat/George, and Talia Suskauer (Wicked) as Dot/Marie. Further casting and creative team information will be announced at a later date.

Sunday in the Park With George opened on Broadway, starring Mandy Patinkin and Bernadette Peters, in 1984, subsequently receiving Tony Awards for Best Scenic Design and Best Lighting Design. The Pulitzer Prize for Drama followed in 1985.
