NYGASP veteran David Wannen returns as the Pirate King opposite James Mills and Stephen Quint in the double-cast role of pattering Major-General Stanley. Also double cast are tenors Daniel Greenwood and Carter Lynch as the pirate apprentice Frederic.
Also featured: soprano Sarah Caldwell Smith (Mabel), David Auxier (Sergeant of Police), alto Angela Christine Smith (Ruth), David Macaluso (Samuel), mezzos Erika Person and Amy Maude Helfer (Edith and Kate, respectively), and Laura Sudduth (Isabel).
Original choreography is by Bill Fabris will be adapted by co-director and current company choreographer David Auxier, sets by Lou Anne Gilleland, lighting by Benjamin Weill, and costumes by Gail J. Wofford. Artistic Director Albert Bergeret directs and conducts the cast and orchestra as he has for more than 40 years.
