Normally, the proceedings of Big Cherry's city council meetings are closed to the public, but Broadway is giving audiences a look at a particularly contentious session this spring. Set in the fictional town of Big Cherry, The Minutes takes place in real time at city council meeting that gets a little heated when the newest council member starts asking questions.
