The U.S. premiere of Incognito, Nick Payne’s drama about memory and identity, officially opens May 24.

The four-member cast features Hand to God's Geneva Carr, Morgan Spector (Ironbound), Charlie Cox (Boardwalk Empire) and Heather Lind (Demolition), playing a combined 21 characters within Incognito’s three interwoven stories. The Manhattan Theatre Club production began previews May 3.

The new play by the Constellations playwright is directed by Tony winner Doug Hughes and is playing Off-Broadway at New York City Center – Stage I.

In Incognito, “a pathologist steals the brain of Albert Einstein; a neuropsychologist embarks on her first romance with another woman; a seizure patient forgets everything but how much he loves his girlfriend.” The play, which debuted in the U.K. at Oxford’s High Tide Festival, delves into the uncharted depths of the mind.

The creative team for Incognito features Scott Pask (scenic design), Catherine Zuber (costume design), Ben Stanton (lighting design), David Van Tieghem (original music and sound design), J. David Brimmer (fight director), Peter Pucci (movement direction) and Stephen Gabis (dialect coach).
