Tony Award nominee Bryce Pinkham (A Gentlemen's Guide to Love and Murder, The Heidi Chronichles), Janet Krupin (If/Then, Bring It On) and Ciara Renée (Pippin, Big Fish) make their Broadway Big Band debuts, and returning guest vocalists include Nick Blaemire (Found, Godspell), Tony Award nominee Daniel Breaker (Passing Strange, The Book of Mormon), Jason Gotay (Spider Man Turn Off The Dark, Bring It On), Julia Mattison (Godspell) and more.
Max Friedman directs the 9:30 PM concert; Friedman and Rosen co-produce.
According to 54 Below, "Join Broadway bandleader Charlie Rosen (Honeymoon In Vegas, One Man, Two Guvnors) for an evening that puts classic showtunes on display, sung by the best and brightest of Broadway's young generation of leading performers, in the timeless tradition of Big Band. A full sized jazz orchestra composed of 17 musicians play Rosen's re-imagined arrangements of an eclectic mix of tunes from Broadway's past, present, and beyond!"
Rosen is a recent Drama Desk nominee for his contributions to the orchestration for Jason Robert Brown's Honeymoon In Vegas and can currently be heard playing in the orchestra for John Kander and Fred Ebb's The Visit at The Lyceum Theatre.
