Company's Jennifer Simard and Rashidra Scott will team up with Peloton's Christine D'Ercole and Leading Lady Fitness' Steph Wilberding for a BroadwayCon panel discussion about strengthening performance on and off stage July 8. Presented by Broadway Podcast Network and produced by Katie Rosin, "The Power of Self-Care Through Self-Talk" will begin at 2:20 PM in the Herald Square Suite of the New Yorker Hotel.
The discussion will integrate Wildberding's holistic coaching with D'Ercole's "wordshop," a workshop in self-talk. Attendees will leave the session with tools for managing and reframing their own inner monologues.
Tony nominee Simard and Scott star as Sarah and Susan, respectively, in the Tony-winning Broadway revival of the Stephen Sondheim-George Furth musical, playing through July 31 at the Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre. D'Ercole, a senior instructor at Peloton, has been in the fitness industry for more than 17 years, but got her college degree in acting from Carnegie Mellon University. Wildberding straddles the worlds of fitness and theatre more directly, working as a performer and hosting the Leading Lady Fitness podcast on BPN.
