Nikolai Foster's non-replica production of A Chorus Line, originally staged at Curve Leicester in 2021, is currently playing a return engagement at the Curve through July 13.

The production will subsequently play The Lowry in Salford July 23–27, London's Sadler’s Wells July 31–August 25, Norwich Theatre Royal August 27–31, The Marlowe in Canterbury September 2–7, Birmingham Hippodrome September 10–14, New Theatre in Cardiff September 16–21, Edinburgh Festival Theatre September 24–28, and Wycombe Swan September 30-October 5.

Reprising their roles from the original 2021 production are Adam Cooper (Billy Elliot, Swan Lake) as Zach and Carly Mercedes Dyer (Anything Goes, West Side Story) as Cassie.

They are joined by Jocasta Almgill as Diana Morales, Lydia Bannister as Bebe Benzenheimer, Bradley Delarosbel as Gregory Gardner, Archie Durrant as Mark Anthony, Joshua Lay as Al Deluca, Katie Lee as Kristine Urich, Mireia Mambo as Richie Walters, Kanako Nakano as Judy Turner, Manuel Pacific as Paul San Marco, Ashley-Jordon Packer as Larry, Kate Parr as Maggie Winslow, Rachel Jayne Picar as Connie Wong, Redmand Rance as Mike Costa, Chloe Saunders as Val Clarke, Toby Seddon as Bobby Mills, Amy Thornton as Shelia Bryant, and Louie Wood as Don Kerr.

The cast is completed by ensemble members Yuki Abe, Fin Adams, Katrina Dix, Imogen Rose Hart, Laura Hills, Josh Kiernan, and Joshua Steel.

Originally directed and choreographed by Michael Bennett, the majority of A Chorus Line productions around the world feature Bennett's original staging and its original costume and scenic design, giving this non-replica production a different perspective on the mega-hit musical.

This production also has choreography by Ellen Kane, set design by Grace Smart, orchestration and musical supervision by David Shrubsole, costume design by Edd Lindley, lighting design by Howard Hudson, sound design by Tom Marshall, and musical direction by Matthew Spalding. Casting is by Kay Magson and Olivia Laydon for Jill Green Casting.

Originally conceived, choreographed, and directed by Bennett, A Chorus Line features a book by James Kirkwood and Nicholas Dante, music by Marvin Hamlisch, and lyrics by Edward Kleban.

The Tony- and Pulitzer Prize-winning musical began performances on Broadway at the Shubert Theatre July 25, 1975, before officially opening October 19, 1975. When it closed 15 years later on April 28, 1990, it was the longest-running show in Broadway history, having played 6,137 performances. The production won the Pulitzer Prize for Drama, nine Tony Awards (including Best Musical, Score, and Book), and the New York Drama Critics Circle Award.
