Advanced ticket sales will be made available to Mastercard holders Sept. 10, while all tickets will go on sale to the general public Sept. 11 and can be purchased here.
On Oct. 4, In the Heights creator and star Miranda is joined by "New Yorker" writer Rebecca Mead in a conversation about his career. The Tony-winning composer, lyricist and actor is currently enjoying the success of his latest Broadway transfer Hamilton. Fellow Broadway composer Trey Anastasio (Hands on Hardbody) is also featured among the line-up of guest speakers and will appear the day prior, Oct. 2.
Tony winner and Oscar nominee Larry Kramer will discuss his life and career Oct. 3, joined later that day by fellow playwright and "Social Network" star Eisenberg, whose latest work The Spoils recently premiered Off-Broadway.
The evening of Oct. 3 will feature a preview screening of The Lady in the Van, starring Maggie Smith and adapted from Alan Bennett's West End play of the same name. Bennett's History Boys won the 2006 Tony Award for Best Play.
Slated for Oct. 4 will be a reading of Wright's Cleo, about the making of the 1963 Hollywood film "Cleopatra" and the love affair between its lead actors, Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton. Wright, who is also an author and screenwriter, was the winner of the 2006 Pulitzer Prize for general nonfiction. The reading is directed by Bob Balaban, starring West End and Broadway actor Damian Lewis as Richard Burton. Lewis is also tapped to appear in a solo event. Other actors slated to join the festival are Broadway vet Weaver; stage and screen actress Julianna Margulies (Festen, Ten Unknowns), who won a Golden Globe Award for her starring role in "The Good Wife"; "Girls" actor Adam Driver; "Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt" star Ellie Kemper; Jason Segel ("Forgetting Sarah Marshall"); "Transparent"'s Jeffrey Tambor; and Jim Gaffigan.
Writers Toni Morrison, Norman Lear, Junot Díaz, Jonathan Safran, Patti Smith, Don DeLillo and Marc Maron are also featured among the line-up, along with musical artists Billy Joel, Mark Ronson and Haim. Award-winning architect Zaha Hadid and television host Larry Wilmore are a few of the other guests making appearances at the festival.
