Broadway's Suffs is launching some new ticket initiatives aimed at mobilizing young voters ahead of this year's presidential election, which will be held November 5. The production hopes the ticket programs will get young people in to see the story of the passing of the 19th amendment, which gave women the right to vote. The Tony-nominated musical continues its run at the Music Box Theatre.

The new programs will offer $19 rush tickets to patrons 25 and under and buy-one-get-one $25 tickets for guests under 18, both for all performances through November 5. The former program is available at the Music Box Theatre's box office daily, with one ticket per person. The latter program is available using the code FUTUREVTR at Telecharge.com.

A third ticket program is aimed at groups wanting to attend a performance. Groups can get four orchestra-level tickets, plus a Suffs hat for each ticket holder, for $299. The production is also offering a six-ticket pack for $225 that includes six mezzanine-level tickets and Suffs tote bags for each ticket holder. The latter program can be upgraded to orchestra level for an additional $35 per ticket.

“We believe that art has the power to drive social change and inspire people to take action—and we see every night how Suffs inspires our young audience members in particular,” say producers Jill Furman and Rachel Sussman in a joint statement. “We are excited to be able to make this story more accessible and encourage audience members to bring their friends and family members to see our fight for the vote dramatized in Suffs, and to encourage them not to take this right for granted, especially in this crucial election year.”

Set in the years leading up to the 19th amendment, Suffs explores the Women's Suffrage movement's victories and failures with a 2024 Tony-winning book, music, and lyrics by Shaina Taub.

Taub stars in her own musical as Alice Paul, alongside Tony winner Nikki M. James (The Book of Mormon) as Ida B. Wells, Tony nominee Jenn Colella (Come From Away) as Carrie Chapman Catt, Grace McLean (Natasha, Pierre and The Great Comet of 1812) as President Woodrow Wilson, Hannah Cruz as Inez Milholland, Kim Blanck as Ruza Wenclawska, Anastacia McCleskey (Waitress) as Mary Church Terrell, Ally Bonino as Lucy Burns, Tsilala Brock as Dudley Malone, Nadia Dandashi as Doris Stevens, and Tony nominee Emily Skinner (Side Show) as Alva Belmont/Phoebe Burn.

Director Leigh Silverman is at the helm, leading a creative team that includes music supervisor and music director Andrea Grody, choreographer Mayte Natalio, scenic designer Riccardo Hernández, costume designer Paul Tazewell, lighting designer Lap Chi Chu, sound designer Jason Crystal, and orchestrator Michael Starobin. 101 Productions is the general manager.
