Broadway's Black History Month festivities continue as Broadway Sings announces their upcoming Central Park concert, which will showcase Black performers singing hit songs by pop genre-defining artists.
The concert will feature music by a variety of Black pop singers, including Beyoncé, John Legend, Whitney Houston, and Prince. Audience members will be able to see these tunes performed by Broadway's Alysha Deslorieux (Hamilton), Sydney Morton (Motown), Christiani Pitts (King Kong), Laurissa Romain (South Pacific), Jelani Remy (Ain’t Too Proud), and Aisha Jackson (Frozen).
Broadway Sings For Black History Month will be held at Wollman Rink in New York City's Central Park February 18 from 7-9:30 PM. Ticketholders will have access to the ice skating rink, as well as a selection of signature cocktails served at the rinkside Hot Toddy tent.
