Prior to joining the West End company of Hadestown, Eva Noblezada and Reeve Carney will headline a London concert next month.
The Broadway favorites, and real-life couple, will offer an evening titled Live in London February 9 at His Majesty’s Theatre.
Carney and Noblezada originated the roles of Orpheus and Eurydice in the National Theatre’s London production of Hadestown, subsequently starring in the Tony-winning Broadway premiere. They also won the Grammy Award for Best Musical Theater Album in 2020 for their work on the Original Broadway Cast Recording.
Noblezada, a two-time Tony nominee for her performances in Hadestown and Miss Saigon, will conclude her current run as Daisy in Broadway's The Great Gatsby January 30. Beginning March 31, she will be the newest Sally Bowles in the revival of Cabaret.
Singer, songwriter, and actor Carney created the role of Peter Parker/Spider-Man in Julie Taymor and U2’s Spider-Man: Turn Off The Dark. He’s also known for his portrayal of Dorian Gray in Penny Dreadful and portrayed Riff Raff in the TV remake of The Rocky Horror Picture Show: Let’s Do The Time Warp Again.
The upcoming London concert is produced by Lambert Jackson.
