The Broadway community will come together for a musical vigil in solidarity with and support of the Ukrainian people on the red steps of the Times Square TKTS Booth April 3 at 11:30 AM.
The vigil will bring the community together for a performance of Les Misérables' "Do You Hear the People Sing?" featuring a verse translated into Ukrainian by Broadway Inspirational Voices. Setting the backdrop for the performance will be a billboard takeover campaign to be launched by the Times Square Alliance, which will display the Ukrainian flag across Times Square's digital billboards, including Luxottica, Silvercast, JC Decaux, Sherwood Equities, American Eagle, T-Mobile, and Branded Cities.
Livestreaming the event via Facebook will be TimesSquareNYC. Emmy-winnnig producer and director Annette Jolles will capture and edit the event for social meda.
