Regional NewsBroadway Actors Will Head to Riverside Theatre for Man of La Mancha

Casting is complete for Riverside Theatre's upcoming production of the Tony-winning musical Man of La Mancha, which will play the Stark Stage January 3-22, 2023, in Vero Beach, Florida.
Directed and choreographed by DJ Salisbury, the cast will feature Edward Staudenmayer (GirlFrom the North Country) as Cervantes/Don Quixote, Lianne Marie Dobbs (Irving Berlin's White Christmas tour) as Aldonza, Tony Chiroldes (In the Heights) as Sancho, Derrick Davis (Carousel) as Carrasco, Edward Juvier (Les Miserables) as The Padre, David Benoit (Avenue Q) as Innkeeper/Governor, Caitlin Finnie as Antonia, April Armstrong as the Housekeeper, Tauren Hagans as Maria, Wesley Slade as Barber, and Paola Hernandez as Fermina.
The ensemble includes Philp Ancheta, Kara Arena, Andre Aultmon, Rhys Kauffman, Bernell Lassai III, Alexander Levin, Enrique Miguel, Alexandra Osorio, and Kit Treece.
The production won five 1966 Tony Awards, including Best Musical, Best Actor in a Musical (Richard Kiley), Best Direction of a Musical (Albert Marre), Best Composer and Lyricist (Leigh and Darion), and Best Scenic Design (Howard Bay).
The creative team for the Riverside staging also includes music director Michael Gribbin, scenic designer Michael Schweikardt, costume designer Lauren T. Roark, wig designer Siobian Jones, lighting designer Travis McHale, sound designer Craig Beyrooti, production stage manager Ingrid Louise Olson, and assistant stage manager Sarah Luedloff with casting by Wojcik Casting.
