News Brenda Braxton, Charl Brown, Chester Gregory, April Nixon Set for Two Lost Worlds Reading The new musical in development was written by Sinclair Mitchell.

Industry readings of the new musical Two Lost Worlds, billed as an “epic tale of two ancient civilizations of Atlantis and Egypt,” will be presented at 2 PM October 24-25 at Pearl Studios in Manhattan.

T. Oliver Reid will direct the musical that is written and conceived by Sinclair Mitchell. It is presented by Richelle Tavernier/ Ripplz Effect, and produced by April Nixon. The reading supports Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.

The cast includes Brenda Braxton, Charl Brown, Christina Sajous, Chester Gregory, April Nixon, Lawrence Clayton, Marisa Wallace, Trisha Jeffrey, Jason McCollum, Robert Fowler, Brandon Ellis, Samaria Nixon-Fleming, Charles Wallace, Aqura Lacey, Cortney Key, Shacura Wade, Willy Mena and Nehmiah Spencer.

“Before Joan of Ark, Delilah, Helen of Troy, or Cleopatra there was Phatobie, the last Princess of Atlantis, and the forgotten tale in the Kingdom of Egypt,” according to press notes. “Two Lost Worlds is a musical love story set in a time when the gods sank Atlantis and Egypt suffered with uncertainty. Riddled with morals and lessons, Two Lost Worlds is the tale of how one woman gave hope to a people thought abandoned by the gods.”

Musical supervision is by Kenny Seymour, with musical direction by Zane Mark, assistant music director Brian Whitted, choreography by David Robertson and assistant choreography by Josue Jasmin.
