The Blue Man Group

Blue Man Group finishes up its 33-year Off-Broadway run at Astor Place Theatre February 2. The pop-art performance has played more than 17,000 performances since it debuted November 17, 1991. Original stars Chris Wink, Matt Goldman, and Phil Stanton returned for two special performances last month, part of the long-running show's farewell.

Now owned and operated by Cirque du Soleil Entertainment Group, the production and its trio of bald, blue men explore society's cultural norms (and poke a little fun at the audience along the way) with their own particular blend of art, music, and technology.

Since its Off-Broadway opening, the show has expanded to include sit-down productions in Las Vegas, Boston, and Chicago, as well as North American and international tours in over 15 countries. The Orlando production is scheduled to reopen this spring, after a four-year hiatus due to COVID-19.
