London's Young Vic Theatre has announced the lineup for its newest season, including world premieres, star-studded epic plays, and an immersive exhibition.

The season will begin May 19 for a 24 hour performance of the internationally acclaimed piece The Second Woman, starring Olivier winner Ruth Wilson. The UK premiere of the epic is co-produced with LIFT in association with Ruth Wilson, created by Nat Randall and Anna Breckon, and presented in association with House of Oz.

The one day only event will be followed by the UK premiere of the play Beneatha's Place, written and directed by Kwame Kwei-Armah. The piece, which takes a satirical approach to Lorraine Hansberry's A Raisin in the Sun, will play from June 27 to August 5.

Jay Jay Revlon, a pioneer of the London Ballroom scene and a beloved House Father, will team up with director Tristan Fynn-Aiduenu to present Sundown Kiki Reloaded July 31 through August 11, following the first ever ball in the Young Vic space on April 15.

untitled f*ck m*ss s**gon play, Kimber Lee's International Award for the Bruntwood Prize for Playwriting winning play, will received a world premiere co-production between the Young Vic and the Royal Exchange Theatre, Factory International for Manchester International Festival and Headlong. Directed by Royal Exchange's co-artistic director Roy Alexander Weise, the show will be presented at the Young Vic from September 18 to November 4 following a Manchester opening.

The immersive exhibition Tribe, which celebrations all forms of family, will be presented October 28 to November 4. It will be followed by the Young Vic Creators Program's Five Shorts, where five artists (Andrea Ling, Annie Kershaw, Ashen Gupta, Nikhil Vyas and Zoe Templeton-Young) and their creative collaborators (Olivia Poglio-Nwabali, Jasmin Mandi-Ghomi, Sanjay Lago, Marek Horn and Marina Carr) will come together to create five different five minute long live performance pieces.

Zinnie Harris’ Further than the Furthest Thing will open prior to the season proper, running from March 9 to April 29. Based on real events on one of the world's most remote islands inhabited by human beings, the piece will be directed by Jennifer Tang, and star Jenna Russell, Cyril Nri, Gerald Kyd, Archie Madekwe and Kirsty Rider, with live vocals by Shapla Salique.
