Brian Clowdus, founder and Executive/Artistic Director of Serenbe Playhouse, is currently presenting his immersive, site-specific production of the beloved ABBA musical Mamma Mia!, produced through Brian Clowdus Experiences at Sugarloaf Mountain Amphitheatre in Ohio. The production marks the first Broadway musical to be staged at Sugarloaf Mountain Amphitheatre, currently home to in 25 years.

For Mamma Mia!, Clowdus transforms the amphitheatre's sandpit stage and rocky platforms into the beautiful Greek island of Kalokairi (based on the real Greek island of Skopelos), where Donna (Betsy Padamonsky, who reprises the role after playing Donna in the Broadway National Tour of Mamma Mia!) must contend with an unexpected visit from three old flames (JD Myers, Joey Manna, and Justin Drummond) on the eve of her daughter Sophie's (Lauren Rabe) marriage to Sky (Jay Reid). As the story goes, one the former lovers is also Sophie's father... but Donna isn't sure which.
