Adam Driver, the stage and screen actor known for his work in Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Girls, and Broadway's Man and Boy, will headline a November 7 benefit performance of Stephen Belber’s provocative drama Tape.

Keri Russell and Pablo Schreiber will co-star with Driver in the play that delves into the ideas of social and personal responsibility. Belber will direct his play.

A former Marine, Driver founded the non-profit organization Arts in the Armed Forces, which aims to create dialogue between artists and service members through live performance.

Tape, which unfolds in real time in a dingy hotel room, largely revolves around two old friends, one of whom tricks the other into admitting — on tape — to a sexual assault committed 10 years earlier. The plot thickens when Amy, the alleged victim, arrives at the room and throws both characters’ memories into question.

The critically acclaimed play was made into a film starring Ethan Hawke, Uma Thurman, and Robert Sean Leonard. Studio 54 is located at 254 W. 54th Street.
