Video A New The Lion King Sneak Peek, Featuring (the Voice of) Beyoncé, Is Here The superstar plays Nala in the upcoming Disney remake, in theatres July 19.

Take a listen to the first footage of Beyoncé as Nala in Disney’s newest glimpse at its new The Lion King.

“Simba, you have to take your place as king,” the 23-time Grammy-winning lioness says. “We need you. Come home”

Also featured in the clip are Timon and Pumba, voiced by Billy Eichner and Seth Rogen, respectively. Watch the entire clip above.

In addition to Beyoncé, Eichner and Rogen, the cast includes Donald Glover as Simba, James Earl Jones reprising his voice performance as Mufasa, Chiwetel Ejiofor as Scar, John Kani as Rafiki and John Oliver as Zazu.

The film hits theatre July 19.
