Film & TV Features 1954 Screen Classic White Christmas Will Return to Cinemas Nationwide Turner Classic Movies will screen the holiday classic, starring Bing Crosby, Danny Kaye, Rosemary Clooney, and Vera-Ellen, for two dates in December.

Irving Berlin’s lushly-scored 1954 holiday screen classic White Christmas, starring Bing Crosby, Danny Kaye, Rosemary Clooney, and Vera-Ellen, will be presented in over 650 movie theatres nationwide December 9 and 12 by Turner Classic Movies. Screenings will take place at 2 PM and 7 PM on both dates.

Presented as the final film in the 2018 TCM Big Screen Classics series, the screenings include new commentary by TCM Primetime host Ben Mankiewicz.

Directed by Michael Curtiz (Casablanca), White Christmas includes such Berlin classics as “Sisters,” “Snow,” "Count Your Blessings Instead of Sheep," and the enduring title song.

The stage musical adaptation of White Christmas premiered as a U.S national tour in 2007. Featuring an expanded score culled from Berlin's catalog of music, the production premiered on Broadway in 2008 for a limited holiday run.
